WAYNE A. LEVENFELD, President & Owner
Executive Vice President of California Motel Management Corporation from 1969-1972.
Vice President - Acquisitions of California Innkeepers from 1972-1980.
President of various subsidiaries of Woodmont Companies from 1980-1994.
President of Pacific Valley Investors. Officer 1980-1984 and President 1989-present.
Has purchased, managed, developed, and sold over $350 million of investment real estate during his years in the business.
Education: Purdue University - B.S. Mechanical engineering "with honors", Stanford University - MBA "with high honors".
GARY R. BRUTON, Vice President, Operations
Joined Pacific Valley Investors Inc, in 1999 as Vice President of
Operations. Prior to joining PVI, worked for the Corrigan family in Dallas Texas as
Vice President of Business Development, and as Vice President and General Manager
of the Stoneleigh Hotel. The Corrigan family's portfolio of hotels included
the Biltmore in Los Angeles, Hotel Adolphus and Stoneleigh Hotel in Dallas,
Hong Kong Hilton, Bali Hyatt and Malta Hilton. Prior to his work for the Corrigan family,
Gary had also been involved with operating several large convention hotels ranging from
400-550 guestrooms affiliated with Hilton and Radisson Hotel franchises.
DANIEL J. INVERSIN Vice President Marketing & Internet
Joined PVI in 1992. Currently serves as Vice President of Marketing/Internet. Works with all PVI hotels with a special emphasis on Internet marketing, database marketing, and direct sales phone solicitations. Currently serves as chairman of the Best Western California Marketing Committee
and as a chairman of the Best Western International Marketing Advisory Board.
Prior to PVI, served as CEO/Owner of DIAC International, a full service advertising agency in Orange County, California, which he established in 1977. DIAC's client list included California Groceries Association, Mercedes Benz, BMW, Rolls Royce, Siemens Communications, Sterling Savings and Loan, Sterling Vineyards, and many other top tier local companies.
Education: San Diego State University B.A. "with distinction".
MICHAEL SIMON, Controller
Joined PVI, summer of 2005. Previous Experience: Controller, Stanford Park Hotel, Menlo Park, CA (Feb 1993- 2005), Controller, Cathedral Hill Hotel, San Francisco, CA (July 1989 to Dec 1992), Vice President of Finance, Reel Grobman & Assoc. San Francisco, CA (February 1985 to December 1989) and Controller, Amfac Hotel, Burlingame, CA (October 1979 to February
1985). Education: BS, University of San Francisco, MBA, San Francisco State University.
DAN PONDER, Special Projects
Has operated hotels ranging in size up to 600 rooms including numerous troubled property turn-arounds. Prior to joinng PVI and serving as GM for several hotels, Dan's management positions included hotels in Grand Bahamas, San Juan, Syracuse, New York, Ft. Lauderdale, Austin, Sunnyvale, San Francisco, San Diego, Los Angles, Carmel, and Santa Cruz. Dan also held several executive positions with Trusthouse Forte where he supervised operation of 24 company owned hotels and was in charge of 200 franchise hotels
ALAN BARMAPER, Sales Consultant
Alan consults for the PVI sales staffs at several of its hotels. He has worked 28 years in hospitality sales & marketing, which has allowed him to acquire excellent relationships with dozens of corporations, and has built a reputation as one of the top hotel sales and marketing professionals. Alan has coordinated pre-opening sales and marketing for four 4-diamond properties during the past several years. Currently consulting high-end hotel properties including: Iroquois Hotel in Manhattan (4-diamond), Halekulani on Waikiki Beach (4-diamond resort & spa), Adobe Grand Villas in Sedona (4-diamond resort) and Madrona Manor in Healdsburg (4-diamond inn and 5-diamond restaurant).
BOB EVERINGHAM, Construction Project Manager
Bob's wide experience in hotel design and construction and his close working relationship with PVI make him a valuable asset for our firm. A sampling of key achievements includes: Managed design development for a $20 million (USD), 150 room Westin Resort hotel in Hainan, China; Managed the civil work consultant team for a $60 Million (USD) resort on the Great Barrier Reef at Curtis Island Beach Resort, Australia; Asset managed 20 Crown Sterling Suites hotels in markets ranging from Florida to California; Responsible for the development of 3 all-suite hotel projects in Hawaii with 1,083 rooms and a total constructed value of $400 million. Construction and Project Management for numerous hotel expansion and renovation projects for Pacific Valley Investors including the Monarch Hotel, Dublin; Savoy Hotel, San Francisco; Ramada Inn, Burlingame; Carmel Mission Inn, Carmel; Villa Hotel, San Mateo; and the Toll House Hotel, Los Gatos.
